The organization conducted the program in the Sitamarhi District of Bihar State. Our constitution makers had known that India of their vision would not be a reality if the country’s children are not nurtured and educated. Article 24 deals with the prohibition of employment of children in factories and Article 45 relating to the provision of free compulsory education for children bear testimony to this realization. The other prohibition of traffic in human beings and forced labor (Article 23) and certain principles of policy to be followed by the State stipulate that children be secured against exploitation.
Child labor in India is more of a rural than an urban phenomenon. Approximately, 90 percent of the working children in the rural areas are employed in agriculture and allied activities. The unorganized and informal sectors, both urban and informal sectors, both in urban and
rural areas, account for almost the entire child labour force. The incidence of child labour is partly linked to the level of socio-economic development of an area and partly to the attitude and approach of parents of the child labourers as a result of socio-economic development of an area and partly to the attitude and approach of parents of the child labourers as a result of socio-economic compulsions. According to the 1991 census, the number of working children in the country was 11.28 million.
Health & Family Welfare Program
The organization conducted the program in the Sitamarhi District of Bihar State. Population stabilization has been a priority area for sustaining the process of economic development in the country. This has been also the focus of successive five-year plans. Bibur is behind not only in containing population growth to manageable limits but also in realizing the goals fixed on the health front.
As we know that increased access to equal health care services has been one of the thrust areas of the social development programs being undertaken in the country. Technological advances and the extension of the infrastructure network have resulted in a decline in mortality. But the burden of disease continues to be important. Our Society organized a series of health camps on a regular basis in different districts of Bihar.
Rural Development Program
The organization conducted the program in the Sitamarhi District of Bihar State. In the present situation, we have been able to create everybody in rural areas but so far as their services delivery is concerned, the majority of them are not up to the mark. There is a need to revitalize and strengthen the already existing bodies in rural areas rather than putting a thrust on creating more and more institutions. Creating better manpower and utilizing the local program can do it. The real success of a rural development program lies in achieving targets in both institutional as well as behavioral aspects. Against these conditions, the society worked in rural development as social workers and tried to bring forth some suggestions that, if considered, could possibly improve the output of a rural development program.
In the view of society on its path of development, it is inevitably important that their worth and dignity are acknowledged and respected. Since development in the real sense means a social and personal change, which moves towards consciously chosen goals, people should choose these goals. Every rural development program should be carried out with the association and involvement of the community people.
Society found out the problems, which they are facing like mass illiteracy, hunger, poor health, malnutrition unless these teeming millions are enabled to help themselves and worked for the development of rural.
Youth Affairs & Sports Program
The organization conducted the program in the Sitamarhi District of Bihar State. The organization Conducted this program not only for the mental development of Youth but also for their Physical development. The program was organized in the Sitamarhi District of Bihar State. In this program, both Outdoor & indoor games were conducted. The Activities undertaken by the youths were as Follows:
- Carrom Competition
- Chess Competition
- Ludo Competition
- Cricket Tournament
- Football Tournament Etc.
The youths participated in this program with Great Zeal & Enthusiasm. Because Youth has the power to change society. The organization organized a vision development program and shared its ideas among youth. In this program, the society organizes a survey program in the village to aware the people.
Road Safety Program
The organization conducted the program in the Sitamarhi District of Bihar State. Day by day increasing accidental cases on the road it is big problems of the Govt., Society & People at a glance we can give answers in simple word reason is increasing rush of the traffic on the road. But according to society, it is not the fact of the cases of accidents. Many people don’t know the rules of traffic. Some people are only maintaining the rules of traffic some are who they know the rules of traffic but do not maintain them on the road. We have organized seminars and awareness camps on the above topic for awareness and to teach the traffic rules.
Vocational Training Program
The organization conducted the program in the Sitamarhi District of Bihar State. OUR Organization has been running vocational training programs for welfare women, children, and youths belonging to the informal economy. It is not just an organization but also a confluence of three movements- labour, self-reliance, and self-employment. Our Society started a vocational training program to encourage self-reliance and self-employment for women and youths who were unemployed and searching for jobs. In this program, Society started all educated and uneducated persons in view of their requirements. Under vocational training program our Society-started computer training, typing, handcrafting, tailoring-sewing, weaving, painting, T.V., Transistor, and Tape-recorder repairing programs.
Formation of SHG
The organization conducted the program in the Sitamarhi District of Bihar State. Self Help Groups (SHGs) enhance the equality of status of women as participants, decision-makers, and beneficiaries in the democratic, economic, social, and cultural spheres of life. SHGs have an in-built mechanism where the emphasis has been given to overcapacity building of women through developing their dialoguing skills. An SHG functions through its regular meeting, where members perform transactional activities and discuss different related issues. This discussion among the group members is the means through which they give voice to their needs and it proves to be a platform for addressing their social and economic problems and enlightening their inner selves as well. The SHGs have inculcated great confidence in the minds of rural women to succeed in their day-to-day life.
Environment Welfare Program
The organization conducted the program in the Sitamarhi District of Bihar State. The Environmental pollution menace is one of the most serious problems, which the world is facing today. Our environment is getting more and more degraded with every passing day. Nature has blessed us with an environment, which is free of all pollutants. But man has indiscriminately been cruel to himself by polluting the environment, which sustains all life. Environmental pollution is normally of three kinds: (1) air pollution (2) water pollution (3) noise pollution. Our air is being contaminated by the smoke emitted by chimneys of factories, the exhaust gases emitted by automobiles, and the nuclear explosions carried out by certain big military powers. The amount of carbon dioxide and sulphur dioxide is increasing beyond permissible limits in the atmosphere. In metropolitan cities where mechanized traffic has
reached an alarming stage, the menace of air pollution is the greatest. Deforestation on a large scale has furthered serious consequences. The capacity of nature to clean the environment by its own means has been hit hard by deforestation. Deforestation has also led to the destruction of wildlife. Thus the modern man has appeared to be a sworn enemy of the flora and fauna, which play a crucial role in maintaining ecological balance.
The pollution menace is further heightened by atmospheric pollution caused by noise. Noise has been recognized as one of the great pollutants in so far as it affects our health very adversely. The plying automobiles, the running trains, the flying airplanes, and the blaring loudspeakers emit noise, which affects our nervous system. Lately, the generators used to generate electricity have made things still more serious.
Adult Education Program
The organization conducted the program in the Sitamarhi District of Bihar State. OUR society knows, that without human development, a country’s development is difficult and you choose this challenging program. In the Human Development program, OUR society is working in very well condition. For this, OUR society takes major steps in Adult Education, Girl’s Education, Family planning programs Child-care camps, Vocational training programs, Self-help programs, for changing of health, education, and income status of the people. Society has a vision for developed India and doing to ensure good health, better education facilities and infrastructure, and prosperity for one and all in India. A happy and contented family (small size) should be considered as the
foundation of a happy life for the society and the economy and the same further ensures a better future for the country’s people and the nation. Our expectations with society attain her aim to make India a developed country through this program.
Sanitation Program
The organization conducted the program in the Sitamarhi District of Bihar State. Communicable diseases continue to be the leading cause of morbidity and mortality in the state of Bihar, especially in the state of Bihar, especially in flood-prone areas of the Bihar. During the season of monsoon, OUR society organized an awareness program Sitamarhi district. It was primarily aimed to arouse health-consciousness anteing the people coming from the lower strata of society, in particular Nishads and Mushahars. Our health instructors and activists visited the houses of Nishad and Mushahars of the locality and tried to convince and motivate them to develop some healthy habits and get rid of bad ones to check the communicable diseases. They were given instructions about the importance of cleanliness and sanitation in life.
Plantation Program
The organization conducted the program in the Sitamarhi District of Bihar State. To stop illegal plant cutting and balance the environment our society started an environmental awareness program. Under the plantation program our society working on tree re-plantation to minimize bad effects due to pollution. Our society started free plant distribution of different kinds of plants in the Sitamarhi district. Our society is also focused on and working to control sound pollution and water pollution. Our society tried to give massage to the people for planting in their birthday ceremony to celebrate. Our organization successfully planted trees of various verities such as Amrapali, Maldah, Bombay, Kolkata, in fruits and Neem, Jammun, Banana, litchi, Kathal, and other more verities of public utility trees. Our society is also focused
on and working to control sound pollution and water pollution. Our society tried to give massage to the people for planting in their birthday ceremony to celebrate. A training program organizes through the society for farmers. This training trained farmers to use the new techniques of agriculture work.
